Karen A. Taylor
Ms. Taylor attended William Penn College from 1988-1992 from there she attended law school at Drake University from 1992-1995 and was admitted into the Iowa Bar in June of 1995. She was admitteed into the Federal Bar in July, 1997 and is a member of the Polk County Bar Association as well as the Iowa Bar Association.
Taylor Law Offices has been in business since July of 1999 and practices in Family Law, Juvenile Law, Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, Criminal Defense, Guardianships and Wills.
Gina E. Verdoorn
Ms. Verdoorn's practice includes Family Juvenile and Bankruptcy Law. She joined the firm after serving as a law student clerk for another Des Moines law firm.
Originally from Hull, Iowa, Gina graduated from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Affairs and a minor in Communication. At Augustana she was residence hall staff as well as a student-athlete.
She obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan graduating cum laude. In addition to her academic achievements, she was involved in Mock Trial at Cooley, and sat on the leadership board for the Sports Law Society, as well as mentoring first year students.
Gina is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association and the National Sports Lawyers Association.
